Once again, I forgot to take step by step photos but I'll do my best to explain what I did step by step and give you a list of materials and prices. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the free market and a little bit of capitalism but taking advantage of parents that want to buy their snowflakes these costumes is kinda low. There were options at the Walmart and Target but I really didn't like the quality of the costume and it seems that profiteers have gotten wind that these were going to be popular and they bought them all up and have been listing them on eBay for twice the MSRP. Looking around on the internet there wasn't much to chose from. Don’t forget the app to customize your characters is no longer available, and neither is the option to have your characters made into a figure.My son is really into Skylanders and this year he wanted to dress up as one of the Giants characters named tree Rex. And with resale value, will be much cheaper to 100%. Trap Team had villains as well, and had a much better story, characters, levels, etc.
But, 2 of them are $100+, so you’ll either have to empty your wallet, or use nfc cards. The only good things are creating your skylanders, and the expansion packs. Crash Bandicoot also has his own game, and both the characters suck. Compared to the other games where you have to: restore the core of light, save Skylands from arkeyans, save the ancients from Kaos, rounding up all the captured criminals, and have to destroy the darkness once and for all. But, the missions themselves are tedious. Later in the story, you have to trick Kaos with a cake to get into his base. You go from getting Jet-Vac’s ship, to fighting a guacamole monster, to going into Pop-Fizz’s fizz world.
